Summer 2018 Offers from SFS

Dear subscriber, welcome to our summer 2018 newsletter. Please scroll down for music opportunities available to children and young people in Somerset this term and in the year ahead.

To stay informed please visit our website and join us on Twitter

We have had a wonderful time working with lots of schools on our two award winning projects in the last couple of terms; "The Year of Brass”, saw 16 schools perform alongside Onyx Brass Quintet following whole school workshops with them in February and March, and “OperaPLUS" saw 8 schools perform the Team Mascot by Donizetti alongside a professional cast in April.

Our Song Story team will be on the road in June working with 5 SEND schools on a project based on The Planets by G Holst. If you would like to take part in any of these projects in the future let us know via music@jackdaws.org

In the meantime we still have room for one more Jackdaws Singing Skills Session.

Book a specialist session for your school as a twilight CPD session tailored to your schools singing needs. Heavily subsidised costs, reduce the cost even further by inviting other schools to participate in your cluster/ federation/MAT and hosting the session. Book now by emailing music@jackdaws.org for more information.
