Sensational Drumming Workshops - an opportunity not to be missed.

Actiontrack are issuing an official warning for Somerset. PREPARE YOUR EARS! International drumming sensation; The Dhol Foundation, are returning to Somerset to run a week of workshops that will finalise in a mind blowing performance.

During the week of the 14th March 2016, two of the members from The Dhol Foundation, including lead drummer Johnny Kalsi, will be taking over Danesfield school in Williton. This is an incredible chance for schools in the surrounding areas to learn about another musical culture, and to have a go at playing this loud, energetic and infectious instrument that comes all the way from the Punjab. The Dhol Foundation have toured the world with these traditional Punjabi drums, and now they are bringing them to Somerset!

The evening of the 18th of March is when the entire Dhol Foundation team will be unleashing their sound on your ear drums. Save the date in your diary and keep your eyes peeled for more information. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear all the banging news!

For more information contact molly.actiontrack@btconnect.com.   Keep you eyes on the Actiontrack website and Facebook for ticket information.

Also find out more about On The Record (featured in the last bulletin), where young musicians all over the county can create brand new tracks using the theme 'What is Culture?'' by visiting www.actiontrackperformance.co.uk
