Somerset County Youth Orchestra Tuscany Tour 2015

Somerset County Youth Orchestra have returned from their tour of Tuscany in the summer.  They played at a number of inspiring venues and had a lot of fun seeing the sights of Italy!  Watch a video of their amazing trip.

Actiontrack are about to start another run of exciting Gamelan residencies in Somerset. Multiple bookings have already been taken, however there are still opportunities to host and take part in one of these exciting workshops. The Gamelan encourages musical thinking as well was group listening skills and teamwork. It's an exciting chance to learn about a new instrument and culture.

The musical minds of Somerset have been busy this summer. Actiontrack not only launched On The Record 3 at the beginning of the Summer, but have also been recording and mixing On The Record 4!

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra GCSE Concerts

Created and produced by BSO Associate Musician Patrick Bailey, BSO’s GCSE syllabus concert traces the development of music from the baroque period to the present day.

It includes set works from three current GCSE syllabuses (EDEXCEL, AQA & OCR) and each piece is analysed with the aid of AV presentation before a live performance.
