The heavily subsidised Sing Up offer will remain the same with schools able to claim a 40-90% discount on the full price of accessing this wonderful resource, depending on their size.

However please be aware that Sing Up have increased their prices and therefore the new membership cost will be as follows:

Please note to qualify for the subsidy you MUST take out/renew your membership through Somerset Music.

We only share your contact info with Sing Up in order for you to access the resource. A 1.5 hour workshop with a singing leader costing only £10 (at least one member of staff must be present). With a choice of themes from:

  • How to get the best out of sing up – how to maximise the use of the resource throughout the school.
  • Developing harmony singing – ways to introduce and extend harmony/part singing with your pupils.
  • Teaching the music curriculum through singing – using singing to teach National Curriculum Music across the school.

A 10 hour singing project, tailored to your schools needs, costing only £100. This can be project based or delivered on a weekly basis. Limited number of projects available, allocated on a first come first served basis.

For 2019/20 – ‘Sing for YOUrself’

A twilight CPD session offered in various locations across the county, in the Spring Term, at a cost of £5 per person to attend. These are open to any member of staff in your school who enjoys singing

The Somerset School Singing Festival which is a free event to showcase your work to other school will take place again in July 2020 in Wellington, Frome, Minehead, Bridgwater and new for 2020……Yeovil.
