Training opportunity with Live Music Now

Live Music Now is looking for Somerset-based musicians who are interested in developing their skills working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.

We have two hands-on training programmes in November, one based at Avalon School in Street (8, 9 and 15 November) and another at Fairmead School in Yeovil (13, 14 & 16 November). Working alongside music leader Bea Hubble and musicians from Live Music Now, you will learn about planning, structuring and delivering music activities for children with a range of complex needs.

There will also be an introduction to the Sounds of Intent framework. You will need to be able to commit to all three days, and to be able to arrange your own transport to the school. A training bursary is available.
