Over a hot July weekend, Taunton played host to a myriad of musical performances. The Sound Foundation Somerset Festival was received with roaring applause by the Taunton public. There was opera in orchard, grooves in Goodlands Gardens and beats at the newly opened Brewhouse, which hosted the majority of the festival on it’s exterior decking.
Jaws Dropped and toes tapped as the sunshine bounced off the Brass Sections. There was also a chance for the public to play the Javanese Gamelan, an activity that was popular with all ages!
We would like to say a huge Thank-You to Taunton Deane Council, Orchard Shopping Centre, The Shed (Goodlands Gardens), Taunton Museum and The Brewhouse for allowing us to use their spaces as venues, as well as the performers, stewards and artistic partners.
